I'm not sure he can have 3 more 1,000 yard seasons but he's never really had any serious injury and his lack of production early may benefit him. Most guys at his age have manny more carries and injuires, look at LT.

    Re: TJ another huge day

Thomas has 8,296 career rushing yards, 54 TD's, 1,818 receiving yards.

TJ has at least 3-4 more good years left, if he can get 3500-4000 more rushing yards, he is Canton-bound IMO, he will be top 12 if he continues his path right now.

    Last four years;
    1,312
    1,119
    1,210
    1,335

If he can keep up this level, and rush for as many yards the next four years as the last, he will end up with around 13,000 rushing yards, good enough for 7th all-time, and projecting around 85 TD's.

If he gets put in the Hall of Fame if there is anyway possible I'll be there. When he retires my opinion on TJ for HOF will be stronger than Rose for HOF or Larkin for HOF.

I know one thing, if Shon Greene wouldn't have had a career day as well once Leon Washington went down then TJ would have a heck of lot more yards to day.

The Jets have rushed for nearly 300 yards today

TJ has 121 and a TD
    Greene has 144 and 2 TD's

because it means more to the locals here, its a personal connection.

I hate teh Jets, but will root for them every week. Even with Seattle, unless they are playing SF I root for SEA.

Thomas is easily the best pro athlete we've ever had in this area it amazes me that he's not more popular here.

I watch the Jets every week and for the life of me can't figure out why they have thrown it so much, hopefully Ryan has finally figured out they are a running team. Had he let Thomas and Leon run the rock more last week they would've won. TJ's yards and carries should still go up with Leon's injury. Have you heard how bad he is injured UT? Last I heard lower leg injury was all they were reporting, I turned it off once Greene started getting all the carries.

He is, but I would expect it to be more so. I know 4 people who I would consider huge Thomas fans and 3 have posted in this thread. Julius was more popular here imo when he played for Dallas.

I'm from Scott Co. and I'm a huge fan of both of those boys.

Best sports moment ever for me was the game I went to on Christmas Eve where Julius had two hundred yards rushing against the Panthers.
